Sennheiser sent over their GSP 300 series gaming headset for us to check out. I’ve been putting it through the paces over the past two weeks to see how it stacks up against the likes of the Steel Series Arctis 5 and Astro A40s.
Last month, Fatshark confirmed/teased that yes, indeed, a new Vermintide was in the works. Yesterday, we finally got a bit more info on what's new/different with Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Specifically, a new hero is being added, there are different "career paths" from which you can choose for your hero of choice, and some new enemies have entered the fray: the forces of Chaos.
Last week, the regular Monday night Co-Opticrew dove back into Warframe to see what had changed since the last time they ran around in it, and also to get ready for the "Plains of Eidolon" update that arrived last Thursday. This week, Mike and Jason did a quick tour of the Plains, before things got a little hectic.
Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a match made in heaven, if heaven was some sort of madman's laboratory in France. Despite a bit of understandable confusion when the game was first announced, it was met with delight when it released back in August. Between the tight "X-COM lite" gameplay and playful interpretation of the Mario universe, there was a lot to love.
We're a couple weeks away from Spintires: MudRunner getting unleashed upon the world, and Focus Home and Saber Interactive want to ensure everyone knows there's more to do than just hitting your friend's vehicle with a log. The latest trailer for the revamped version of the curious mud/terrain deformation simulator shows ...
Rebellion's Rogue Trooper Redux, the remastered version of their 2006 release, is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Need a refresher on what this game is all about? The new launch trailer should cover you there. Rogue Trooper Redux supports four player online co-op in two separate co-op modes: S...
"Hate" is a strong word, and I only use it for things I absolutely despise. One of the things that I hate is seeing kids in the hospital with life threatening illnesses or injuries. I bet you hate that, too. Well, you can help. Co-Optimus is gathering a team of gamers to participate in Extra Life for the sixth straight year, and we invite you to join in on the fundraising! A Children's Miracle Network Hospital of your choice will receive all of the donations you raise on your page, and you get to play video games for an entire day!
Another weekend, another set of co-op plans for you to peruse. Warframe appears to have snuck into our hearts in the days since we last met, what with its new "open world" and "cyborg ninjas". Psh. I remember when we took coffee black, our levels linear, and our ninjas thoroughly human, and we liked it. I mean, sure, maybe we occasionally wished for broader choices and a couple laser arms, but we knew our place as consumers. We'd get our sweet exploration/robot karate games when the developers were good and ready.
If you’re one of the many players enjoying the beautiful Bungie - Activision love child that is Destiny 2, chances are you were unaware that the ORIGINAL Destiny just had a major content drop on Xbox One and Xbox 360. All of the gear, maps, strikes and so on that Sony paid to keep exclusive are now available on Xbox One and 360… Just in time for the sequel.
Mass Effect: Andromeda was... well, let's say it wasn't particularly well received when it first hit back in March of this year. Nevertheless, BioWare put in a good amount of work to address the issues levied at it upon initial release, and now, they're hoping to entice gamers back into the ME universe by making it available to play on both EA and Origin Access sometime in the near future.
The latest and greatest in run-n-gun gaming is now available to Xbox One users. By latest, I mean that the game has been out since 1999, and by greatest, well... it is pretty fantastic. Get your machine guns out and your calves stretched, cause as of this writing, a cool eight bucks can buy you Metal Slug X.
It's been sometime since our Monday night Co-Op Crew has looked in on Digital Extreme's Warframe and there have been a lot of changes, tweaks, and updates since we did. In anticipation of the impending release of the "Plains of Eidolon" update, Locke, Mike, Jason, and Nick decided to hop back in to take a look around.
