With folks around the world stuck indoors, it's only natural that the average person would spend a substantial amount of their waking hours daydreaming about travel. While we can't quite visit many places in person right now, Saber Interactive is offering a chance to digitally explore one specific locale at your leisure, assuming you don't mind the slightly more aggressive populace.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 may almost be almost be three years old, but the game is still going strong. Yesterday to celebrate the unofficial Star Wars holiday (or possibly official?) May the 4th, EA had the game on sale for just $6. And while it's back up to a price of $16 dollars today, it's still a steal with a ton of content to play and enjoy.
Combo Co-Op, if you didn't know, is the ability to mix a co-op game with both local and online players at the same time. It's one of the only features Streets of Rage 4 doesn't support out of the box. Thanks to Twitter user @SolKeizer26 though - we've found a workaround to at least get 3 players going in remote play on PS4.
Few games have captured the creative and adventurous hearts of gamers like the crafting and combat heavy Terraria. The title has managed to keep its longevity over the years with a steady stream of updates ever since its initial PC release back in 2011. However, it appears the newest update, “Journey’s End,” will possibly be one of the final (development) chapters in the long running saga that is Terraria.
Gears are turning around the world as folks create plans for re-emergence, but Co-Optimus HQ is still buckled down for the foreseeable future. That's not the worst situation, though, as there are plenty of new games to sink our pale, sterile claws into. Maybe when summer rolls around, we'll start looking wistfully out our windows again, but for now, things are golden.
Streets of Rage 4 is out today, the first true Streets game in 26 years. You can read our review of Streets of Rage 4 right here, needless to say, we've been thrilled. If you prefer more of the visual review though, we've got that below. Last night Mike and Nick jumped into the two player co-op online action taking the game for a spin in Arcade, Boss Rush and even Battle modes.
There's very little moving going on in the world right now (much less shaking), but luckily, you can still spend a few hours each evening explaining to your friends how to rotate a dining table to your left.
As the world shelters in the relative comfort of their own homes, it's natural that some folks will yearn for the harsh, messy expanses of the great outdoors. What more perfect time could there be, then, for a new game about exactly that?
The synths kick in as the neon lights reflect off the city streets, slowly the drums add to the atmosphere. From off screen strolls a a gruff man with long blond hair and an ere of anger in his stride. Soon the screen is filled with a gang intent on being served justice...with your fists. It's a familiar scene for gamers who grew up in the 90s ...
Sega's phenomenal co-op strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2, may not have been lost to time, but it's certainly fallen a bit by the wayside in light of Sega's more recent iterations on the Total War franchise. Thanks to the current pandemic, though, it's been given one more shot at the limelight.
Victory reigns supreme this weekend at Co-Optimus HQ. Whether it's a cross-country move or a really hard platformer, we've met the task head-on and thoroughly conquered it. Unless, that is, you include bonus DLC, like extra levels or all the things that need to be done after a cross-country move. As a matter of fact, we may need to cancel that all-night celebratory rager. We've, uh, got some things to take care of.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 received a, as the developer puts it, “small” patch last week in the form of the 2.4 update. The update, viewable in full here, brings better collision detection to Enchanter’s Lair, fixes locations where players can get stuck on both Old Haunts and Enchanter’s Lair, and some general fixes to the...
