We've been enjoying Trine on our PC for the past month, despite a small glitch. PlayStation 3 owners are chomping at the bit to get their hands on the physics based platformer, and unfortunately, it looks like they'll be waiting a bit longer.
I'll be honest, no game has a confirmed release date until it's on the store shelf. That's not to say there isn't any merit to GameDaily's list of 2009 confirmed titles. The problem was that since the article was posted, one of the confirmed games was already delayed (Splinter Cell) until next year.
The original Alien Breed came out 16 years ago, with the remake coming sometime in the near future. A lot has changed in technology and games since 1993 - an era when the 386 was considered a powerful computer. Team 17 has put out a video for Alien Breed Evolution titled "Then and Now" and it shows just how far the Xbox 360 timed exclusive has come.
According to Major Nelson, if you applied to be in the customer preview of the latest dashboard update - and you were chosen - you should have received an email that looked like the above picture. The update should be applied the next time you turn on your Xbox 360.
It must be a Fresh Prince reunion day or something. First Uncle Phil was in the news when he was pictured alongside Rochelle in the latest Left 4 Dead 2 photo. Now DJ Jazzy Jeff has popped up as being included in the upcoming DJ Hero title from Activision.
We generally enjoyed busting ghosts this summer with our friends, on both the 360/PS3 and the Wii. It looks like we weren't alone. Atari has announced that Ghostbusters the Videogame has sold over one million copies in North America alone.
It's a very special episode this week! Nick took a weekend trip and made the mistake of leaving Mike to his own devices, so Jim, Jason and Marc join him to discuss not only this week's news, but when we feel a game requires co-op!
Last year, Spyborgs was announced. Touted as a Saturday morning cartoon style platformer, the game quickly fell off the radar. Now, as the game's release on September 29 approaches, we're hearing quite a bit more about Spyborgs. Visually, the game looks much different, more realistic yet still over the top in style. The gameplay appears more action based as well.
As we previewed last week, the Gears of War DLC is now available to download. The content comes in two flavors.
There was a time when Depeche Mode enjoyed the silence. There were no gun shots, no zombie growls, and no screams of horror when a Tank came onto the screen - but times have changed. If you didn't notice, Rochelle, is sporting a pink Depeche Mode t-shirt in the above Left 4 Dead 2 character shot, and this is no accident.
It's been some time since we've heard anything about Aliens: Colonial Marines from developer Gearbox Software. Perhaps its because they've been so busy working on Borderlands, or perhaps there just wasn't much to tell.
