Heavy Weapon may have come out on the Xbox Live Arcade over two years ago, but that doesn't mean you should ignore today's release on the PlayStation Network. 

Shi No Numa stinks.  No... literally it stinks.  Why?  Because Shi No Numa means "Zombie Swamp" - as if zombies don't smell bad enough on their own.  Now Treyarch has thrown their festering, flesh eating undead into the stinky murky depths of a swamp and charged four cooperative players with killing them.   

Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived four characters who craved fame.  You see, they used to be the talk of the kingdom – boys and girls around the entire world loved them, and their names were recognizable wherever one would go.  Things change, new stories get told, and beloved old storytime characters get lost in the shuffle.  You ever stop to think that maybe those characters don’t want to fade away?  That maybe they’ll do anything to get back in the limelight of their former glory?  In Playlogic and Game Factory’s Fairytale Fights, this is exactly the case – and things get bloody.  Very bloody.

Classic co-op game Doom is coming to the iPhone next week, though the version is actually based on the Doom III game.  Titled Doom: Resurrection, the game is rebuilt from Doom III assets and code - no small feat.  

July 22nd will mark a momentous occasion, one where many of our childhood memories can be relived in a new shell! Turtles in Time: Reshelled will be released on the Xbox 360, with both online and offline 4-player co-op! Ubisoft promised a remake of the original Turtles in Time, as well as "extras" to keep things fresh.

Activision has released a fresh batch of screenshots for Guitar Hero 5, one of the many music games they have coming out this fall.

Lets face it, music games are pretty much the ultimate party co-op game.  They are also the most expensive games out there thanks to their plastic peripherals and yearly refreshes.  The biggest problem with them for retailers are the large boxes taking up valuable shelf space.  So what's a retailer to do?  Sell them cheap!

Up until this point, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 has mostly only shown it's good side, with a few bad seeds strewn in the mix. Now, the spotlight hits a few heavy hitters from the villains side of the board, where Venom and Green Goblin have entered the scene. The developers over at Marvel give us details on their decisions for these two, including the way they look and the way they fight!

The response to the upcoming release of Left 4 Dead 2 has been less than cordial. In fact, part of the gaming community decided to boycott the release of the game altogether, feeling betrayed by Valve who appeared to renege on their promise for additional content. Well, Valve has finally spoken up, promising not to ignore the first Left 4 Dead game in favor of the sequel.
