This past weekend the kind folks over at Aeropause invited me onto their gaming podcast called the Aeropodcast.  

Amazon's deal of the day promotion is very co-op friendly.  If you are itching to have a rockin house party and need some more plastic instruments for people to break...er..play, well then this deal is right up your alley.

If you think you are going to have a problem finding a co-op partner for Resident Evil 5, think again.  Capcom has just announced that their 2 player co-op survival-horror-action-adventure game has shipped over 4 Million units worldwide.  This includes both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game

If you are looking for a great co-op game to play on the Wii with your 6 year old daughter;  well you might want to skip out on House of the Dead: Overkill.  You see, the game has set a world record in the Guinness Book of World Records 2009 Gamers Edition for most swearing in a video game...ever.

As you've heard last week, we finally got confirmation that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of Ghostbusters would contain some pretty cool co-op modes.  And while it's not gameplay through the entire single player story, what developer Terminal Reality created is something almost equally as cool.

It's time to separate the men from the boys, the woman from the girls. It's time to team up and head into Resident Evil 5 - the first totally cooperative survival horror game to hit next-gen consoles. We've got the full review.

When we announced that Bioshock 2 was set to feature Co-op, the Co-op gamer in me jumped for joy, but my inner horror gamer was very unsure. The recently released Resident Evil 5 sparked a similar doubt in me when trying to decide if I wanted to play alone, or hook up with a friend.

I like a good rumor every now and then, and the latest rumor for the upcoming 5 player co-op RPG from Blizzard would be something I could totally get behind.  The rumor goes that Diablo III would be seeing an open beta on September 11th of this year, testing out both the new Battle Net as well as the game.  

Gas Powered Games has released a handful of new screenshots for Demigod, their 5 player co-op RTS/RPG game for the PC.  The new screens give players an idea about the interface of the game.

You may remember our coverage of a visit to an actual classic arcade a few months ago.  One game in particular stood out among the rest, and took up quite a bit of our playing time.  That game was Rampage, a hilarious, action packed monster fest featuring co-op.  Rampage has been quite popular over the years, and has spawned a few sequels/remakes.  We'll be taking a look at the original, as well as more modern titles in the series for Co-Op Classics this week.  

It's Friday the 13th (for the second month in a row) so that means it's horror time! Resident Evil 5 is the perfect game to fill that void.
