Ok, so the above screenshot isn't from the upcoming zombie map called “Verrückt” (Zombie Asylum), but it is from the map pack you can purchase it with aptly named "Map Pack 1." Like we previously reported, this pack is coming soon to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Call of Duty: World at War.
Here's your one stop roundup for all of our New York Comic Con 2009 coverage. We've got games, games, pictures, and more games all waiting at your finger tips!
The WiiWare has been pretty sparse with co-op releases, but it's beginning to show some promise. With titles like Eduardo the Samurai Toaster and now Onslaught - the WiiWare looks like it could have some great original cooperative titles.
As we previously reported, Dawn of War 2 had gone missing from Gamestop. This forced gamers to preorder the game from sites like Amazon for cheaper - oh the horror.
As you know, the 2 player co-op shooter The House of the Dead: Overkill comes out this week. You may have read our impressions of it? What you didn't know was that Sega has just launched a poster creator for the game, and to put it blunty - it's friggin awesome.
Co-Opticast Episode 12 is here, and the Co-Opticrew is back from their trip into the Big Apple to bring you coverage of the New York Comic-Con.
We've almost come to the end of our NY Comic-Con coverage. With so many games on the show floor, we didn't have as much time as we wanted to to go in depth with everything. But...we tried our hardest to play what we could. There's two more games I wanted to briefly talk about, both have cooperative play. Both games also couldn't be anymore different.
Check out those ESRB ratings: M, M, M. I'm pretty sure this is the only week ever where three different M-rated co-op titles were released. House of the Dead Overkill continues a fine line of co-op shooters, this time on the Wii. And the Onechanbara games... well, what can you say? Girls in bikinis, katanas, zombies, and a very large cowboy hat all mixed up into two quite unique co-op gaming packages. You have to give them credit for creativity, for sure. Provided below, for your ease of use, are handy links to Amazon.com for each game; purchases help support Co-Optimus!
He's taken down hundreds of wretches. He's slain wave after wave of drones. Boomers, Berserkers? No problem. Reavers? He yawns at them. But there was one enemy, so terrible, so powerful, that even Marcus Fenix couldn't stop it...
Sega's booth was one of the most active on the NY Comic Con show floor. Whether that's because they were giving out free t-shirts, or because they had a ton of great games...well that's yet to be seen. Buried deep within the confines of the booth, hidden behind zombies giving out comics and hugs...yes zombie hugs...was House of the Dead Overkill. The game is a two player co-op shooter for the Wii, and it's the first House of the Dead game that isn't based on an arcade title.
PlanetXbox360 just posted a demo alert for Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X, the highly-anticipated flight combat game that hits stores March 3rd and promises drop-in/drop-out co-op throughout the main campaign.
Over at the official Call of Duty website, community manager Josh Olin (click to follow on Twitter) has posted a new zombie warning sign...only this one doesn't adorn the freeways of Austin, Texas.
