This Saturday, a handful of Co-Optimus staff and community members are joining thousands of other gamers in a task that is as foolish as it is noble. We're participating in the Extra Life Game Day celebration, when most of us will be attempting a 24 (or 25) hour marathon to raise donations for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Let's introduce the team!
The latest of LEGO's licensed gaming exploits has finally reached its conclusion, as the last DLC is now out for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. What's next for everyone's favorite building block company? Who's to say. Perhaps it's LEGO Mad Max, or maybe LEGO The Revenant. Personally, I'd be pretty excited for LEGO Steve Jobs. I feel like all those cutesy figurines could really work wonders on Danny Boyle's biopic.
Slowly, but surely, the Rainbow 6 Siege crew is running out of places to protect. The last DLC pack took them to Brazil, and now they're jet-setting all the way over to Japan to defend innocent civilians from those dastardly terrorists. Soon enough, this top secret anti-terrorism squad will end up in Hell, rooting out ne'er-do-wells at their very core.
Where do you think the term Heavy Metal came from? Rock 'n' Roll Knights of course as they party whilst wearing their armour. This is what Super Dungeon Bros would have you believe in the launch trailer for this 4 player co-op title.
Have you died in the last 20 seconds? You obviously haven't been playing A Quiver of Crows, a twin stick shooter from Sheado that sounds like a secret follow-up to Game of Thrones. In reality, it's a unique spin on the shmup genre that draws its inspiration from classic games of old. You know, back when they killed you instead of giving you...
It's the freakin' weekend! You know what that means, gang. It's time to dance in the fall leaves, drink cider on porches, and further our all-digital futures. Gears of War 4 continues to eke out an existence in the caverns and alcoves of our collective minds, but it too shall fall away with time. What better way to replace it than with Civilization 6, a grand tale of empires rising and colliding and - ... hold on a second.
Sometimes, you and your bros (or broettes) need to rent a cabin out in the wilderness, enjoy the scenery, and just relax. Other times, you and your bros have to grab your crossbows/swords/hammers/wands and just stomp the everloving crap out of whatever baddies stand in your way. The latter of these scenarios falls under the purview of Super Dungeon Bros, which just got a few new trailers to show off all that vicious weaponry you'll be using to accomplish said stomping, as well as a few new characters to wield them.
2016 has been a rough year in a lot of ways, and there are some tough problems facing the world as a whole. The best way to deal with them? Well, according to the new video for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, it might be best to head straight up about 62 miles (or 100 km).
While more than a few of us spent the past weekend (and this past week) clicking through "just one more turn" in Civilization VI, we have not been doing it together.
I haven’t revisited Dark Souls 3 since devoting a week of my life to it back when it was released. Being forced back into the world of Lothric wasn’t as jarring as I would have imagined. It feels good to swing a sword, cast some spells, and pick up the game again. This time I head into the first piece of downloadable content titled Ashe...
Watch Dogs 2 will be available (on the consoles, at least) in just a couple weeks. In anticipation of its impending release, some advanced copies have been sent out to a few folks so they can get hands on with it. Polygon's Nick Robinson captured a few hours worth of the game, including 25 minutes of the game's cooperative play.
The chaotic bullet-hell platform shooter Gunnihilation has been in Steam Early Access for about a month now, and developer Robo Pixel Games has been listening to the community and their feedback. Next week, the first big update to the title will hit on Halloween and bring with it some requested fixes, as well as some new content.
