A few decent co-op deals have surfaced at the PC gaming retailer Green Man Gaming. Grand Theft Auto V on PC is almost 50% off with a recent drop to only $32.16 after our coupon code. More importantly, they're also promoting the Grand Theft Auto Online Shark Cards, dropping the price on the Megladon, Whale, and Great White Shark cards 44%.
You and your swarthy seven person crew have battled across the galaxy. Creeping around hostile bird-person ruins, mining alien deserts for their precious resources, and vaporizing everything that runs at you with the urge to kill has only served to strengthen the bonds of you and your posse. However, you soon realize that the universe is a lot more narrow in scope than you expected, so you and your friends return to Earth and convert your space ship into a novelty food truck specializing in fajitas or something.
After our little run-in with a certain "sentient throne", Taylor and I knew that our goal was finally within reach. No, we hadn't mastered the early stages to maximize our health and weaponry for the late-game slog. No, we hadn't escaped the occasional death-by-grenade. But despite our shortcomings, we proved that when we were given the tools to reach the final stage, our ragtag duo was capable of actually... well, using them.
These days everyone seems to want to hop on the “Rogue-Like” bandwagon. It’s a genre of game that has seen an explosion of titles in the last four years thanks to indie developers and titles like FTL, Binding of Isaac, Dungeon of the Endless and many many more. All of these games share a few traits - a strong death penalty, random...
The second (of the planned four) DLC pack for Call of Duty - Black Ops 3 has been revealed. Titled "Eclipse," Activision is taking players to the Pacific this time with four new multiplayer maps and the next entry in the co-op zombie story.
Hello again, everyone! It's your venerable host, Enoch Starnes, with a very special announcement. Starting this Monday, Co-optimus, formerly known as your Prime Source for Co-op Gaming, will be shedding its proverbial shell and, just like the majestic hermit crab, moving on to bigger and better things. I couldn't be more excited to announce our new home: Jaguaptimus!
We are truly living in a wondrous digital age. With the release of the Oculus Rift earlier this week, and the Vive and PlayStation VR just around the corner, it seems like folks will be able to enjoy their favorite titles in a virtual realm before long. Divinty: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition is hopping on board with a newly added "VR Mode" for their game. Best of all, you don't need a headset to enjoy it!
The LEGO games, though somewhat simplistic, are often packed to the absolute brim with content to explore and unlock. They're sort of like if someone dumped every similarly themed LEGO set possible into your living room, except without all the harrowing foot injuries.
1993 Space Machine was actually made in 1993. Designer Krister Karlsson and team had everything almost ready to go, but the game never got a release. You know, there was all that drama with repairing the Hubble Space Telescope, and Seinfeld was getting pretty good around then. But now, over two decades later, it's time to revisit the past. And you don't even need to break out that Amiga!
Bungie has been putting on some Twitch streams these past couple Wednesdays to show off some of the new content that's coming in the 2.2 update for Destiny. Aside from the holiday themed events and the Sparrow Racing, there hasn't been much in the way of new content for the cooperative shooter since The Taken King arrived last fall. Now, Bungie appears to be making strides to try and bring players back to the game.
2K has posted a new blog entry that highlights, among other things, a "Hardcore" mode for Battleborn's Story missions. This is the first time this mode has been mentioned and it sounds like a way to keep things going on the co-op side after you've played through the all the missions on normal. They also detailed the minimum/recommended specs for the PC version, which don't seem too bad for an average gaming PC.
Many survival games are focused on you being a lone person in a vast wilderness. Imagine, however, if you had a giant robot that you could pilot around? That's pretty much the premise for Goliath, a new survival/action game being developed by indie team Whalebox Studio.
