It seems that the developers at Studio Wildcard love to surprise and delight players of ARK: Survival Evolved with a steady stream of new content. Patch 233 includes a whole slew of goodies, with a new dino featured. The Gallimimus hauls three people around, allowing two friends to tag along and attack anything that moves. Sony's "Vote to Play" system returns this month to ask all PS Plus members "what should be one of the free games offered in March?" The three games up for your selection include two solid co-op titles: Assault Android Cactus and Broforce. I won't lie, that's a tough choice.
If you cast your thoughts back to summer of 2015, you may recall news of a new FPS title that looked like a mash-up of Doom and Minecraft, titled Gunscape. The game's biggest hook is that it will allow a group of up to eight local or online players - on the Xbox One and PC versions only - to create their own levels together. Word has finally come down that it will arrive on the Xbox One this March.
Way, way back in the prehistory of the Tabletop Co-Op column, more than six years ago, we covered our very first cooperative board game here at Co-Optimus: Pandemic. In the time since that first article ran, Pandemic has become one of the most popular board games in the world, spawning a dice game, an upgraded reprint, and several expansions. Last ...
Sounds like Tom Clancy's The Division enjoyed a fairly successful beta weekend. Just prior to all of that going down, though, Ubisoft released some details concerning their plans for supporting the title after it releases this March.
Last night we wrapped up our Trine 3: Artifacts of Power play through. It was a shortened stream in which we only needed to complete two side missions and the final boss fight to end the game.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the action-y, space ninja-y, free-to-play Warframe got a big update last week in the form of new content. He even, like, flamboyantly gestured to us with the back of his hand when he said it. I'm not one to judge, but the dude could've used some hand lotion or something, cause that thing was straight scaly.
Night after night, life after life, bullet after bullet, Taylor and I are pushing deeper and deeper into mysterious future of Nuclear Throne. We may not be especially good at it, and the game may do little to persuade us otherwise, but like wild, super rad horses with guns and lots of money and stuff, we saunter on.
