Overkill's problems trying to add new content to the PAYDAY 2 console versions has been rocky to say the least. However, they do hope to make amends with the coming of the current gen versions. Recently, the developer announced the projected the release times for both PS4 and Xbox One versions of the PAYDAY 2: Crimewave Edition!
For Tabletop Co-Op this month, we are taking a closer look at a recent game release. Tiny Epic Defenders packs a powerful punch and wraps it all up in a small package. It’s a great game, with fantastic monsters, brave heroes, and a kingdom to defend. Best of all, it is challenging and highly cooperative from start to finish....
Gaming conference season is kicking off in full gear next week with the Game Developers Conference (GDC). One of the games that will be making its debut there is AIPD, or Artifical Intelligence Police Department, a co-op twin-stick shooter from developer Blazing Badger. The hook to the game is that you can modify not only your ship, but the game itself.
The Monster Hunter series is enormously popular in Japan. We're talking Grand Theft Auto levels of popularity. But in the west? Not so much. There's a strong cult following that lives and breathes all things Monster Hunter related, but sales just haven't been able to match those in the game's home turf....
One of my favorite local co-op games from 2014 was the action/puzzle platformer, Chariot. Two players work together to guide dearly departed dad's coffin to a resting place fit for a king. To get it there, you'll have to push, pull, and ride the sarcophagus through a variety of levels and challenges. Frima Studios announced yesterday that players who can do that the fastest, will be eligible to win some nice real world loot!
Hypothetical situation: you and your friends really want to experience the colorful 2d glory of Rayman Legends, but you spent all your hard-earned cash on an Xbox One and four controllers, and can't shell out for the game. Fear not, financially-hamstrung gamers! So long as you can muster the cost of a single month of Games with Gold, Rayman and his cohorts can be yours, free of charge, this March!
The latest footage of Victor Vran has now been shown, just as the game enters into Early Access on Steam. Developers of the Tropic series, Haemimont Games, have put together an exquisite RPG title that looks very similar to the that of The Adventures of Van Helsing and Diablo.
Independent developer Intropy Games revealed today that it will launch its head-to-head puzzler Astral Breakers in the Wii U eShop this June, and genre fanatics can look forward to a featured co-op mode with unique mechanics.
Well, gang, it looks like ol Mr. Capcom pulled a fast one on us. Despite Resident Evil: Revelations 2's page on Steam's virtual storefront prominently displaying an "offline co-op" feature, gamers have quickly discovered that this is not, in fact, the case.
The enhanced/expanded version of Dark Souls 2 - titled Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin - will be coming out in just a little over a month. We've previously talked about the graphical differences that players will get to enjoy and now we've got some footage of the differences between the two versions running on a Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the hour of darkness is nearly upon us. A scant few weeks from now, Bloodborne will begin to creep into our lives. It will happen slowly at first; everyday objects will gradually morph into geometries reminiscent of Victorian England. Desks viewed at certain angles will vaguely take on the shape of torture racks, cubicle walls will play host to shadowy gargoyles who appear more than willing to hop down for a midday treat. Then, the bleakness will consume us. Hours will be spent lying awake at night, praying for a few moments of sleep and reprieve from our waking nightmare. Come March 24th, Bloodborne and the creatures who inhabit it will eventually become all we know.
The Nazi Zombie Army Trilogy is almost upon us. I'm sure most of you are tried and true veterans of dozens of zombie apocalypses, but there's always room for more cooperative supernatural mayhem, right?
