Moving Out 2 Is Coming to Consoles and PC on August 15, Preorders Open Now

Team17's first furniture moving game, Moving Out, was a delightful local co-op party game somewhat akin to Overcooked. The Turtles will fight through a variety of interesting locales, trying to survive for as long as possible.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge 'Dimension Shellshock' DLC Will Add a Co-op Survival Mode

It came as no surprise when Dotemu and Tribute Games announced that TMNT: Shredder's Revenge would be getting some paid DLC in the near future. The Ninja Turtles-themed beat 'em up was a huge hit when it launched on consoles and PC last year, so of course it's getting new content. Fresh details about the "Dimension Shellshock" DLC reveal that it adds not just a new playable character (Usagi Yojimbo), but also a co-op survival mode. That's not too surprising since Streets of Rage 4's DLC, also published by Dotemu, added a survival mode as well.

Fresh 'Double Dragon Gaiden' Trailer Showcases Playable Characters and Bosses

It wasn't long ago that Secret Base Games and Modus Games revealed that Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons will feature bosses as unlockable characters. June's trailer showed glimpses of four playable sub-bosses, including the mighty Abobo. Double Dragon Gaiden is due out at the end of this month, so the game's creators are keeping the hype rolling by publishing a brand-new trailer with even more footage of the characters that have been revealed so far.

The River City Girls can juggle enemies more easily thanks to the new update.

River City Girls 2 Gets a Balance Update to Improve Combos and Juggles

Not long ago, River City Girls 2 received a long-awaited patch that improved its frame rate and fixed countless bugs. Fans have been greatly enjoying WayForward's beat 'em up RPG since the update arrived, but they also noticed that the game's combo system had become more finicky. That change was apparently unintentional, and it has now been fixed in the game's latest update. The new balance update is now live on all platforms.

Play Neo Geo games in style with this authentic and improved controller!

NEOGEO Wireless Controller for PC, Mobile, and Neo Geo Mini Coming From 8Bitdo

When the Neo Geo Mini arrived in 2018, it kicked off a wave of miniature arcade cabinets that continues to this day. Although the unit featured a fairly good built-in arcade stick and buttons, the optional controllers were widely criticized for their lack of microswitches and inauthentic button layout. Five years later, 8Bitdo will finally offer a much better control option with its upcoming 8Bitdo NEOGEO Wireless Controller. The new controller will work with the NeoGeo Mini, PC, and mobile.

The 3DS remake of River City Ransom is finally coming to big-screen platforms!

River City: Rival Showdown Announced for PlayStation, Switch, and Steam

River City Ransom (known in Japan as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari) is a highly influential beat 'em up RPG from 1989 that has seen numerous ports and remakes over the years. I'm partial to the PC Engine version, myself! Back in 2017, an enhanced remake of Ransom was released on 3DS called River City: Rival Showdown. That game is now heading to PlayStation, Switch, and Steam in October with both local and online co-op!
