Next week, new functionality and improvements will be coming to the Xbox One forefront in the form of a decently sized system update. This will be one of many to come in the next few weeks, as we get closer to Microsoft's predicted blockbuster, Titanfall.
For This Week in Co-Op, Nick and John donned their finest robes and dove into the world of Magicka. It’s been a while since we visited the co-op game which features elemental spell mixing, so we figured now was a good a time as any to taste its sweet nectar. This is a tale of two wizards on a brave journey. A journey which finds them in the company of a slightly off color “not a vampire” companion. Come to think of it, we may just be trying to avoid him in the future.

Co-op space shooter Retrobooster is set to release February 21st for Windows and Linux. This space shooter may be set at "1980s difficulty" but it certainly doesn't have 1980s controls or graphics. The game balances navigation, intense firefights, puzzles, and high speed flying into a beautiful looking experience.
This week's co-op stream broadcast last night on Twitch.tv involved Locke, Mike and Nick in Trine 2 on the PC. Perhaps if you lived in Japan in 1995 you got to play The Firemen 2: Pete & Danny on the original PlayStation. For those of us in North America, our first chance of getting our hands on the fire hose came in late January, as The Firemen 2 saw it's North American release on PSN.
According to Xbox Live's resident Guru Major Nelson, Dead Island (normally $19.99) and Toy Soldiers: Cold War (normally $14.99) are available this month, free of charge, for any Games with Gold members. The chaps down at Playstation Access have graced us with some gameplay footage of Dark Souls 2. This isn't any kind of meticulously edited trailer or anything, this is straight up real in game footage being played by them and some Namco Bandai employees. And because it is Dark Souls, you will see nothing but the cold face of death in multiple forms. Besides, is there anything more entertaining than having two British dudes commenting over a series of clips from one of your most anticipated titles?
