Fight undead-looking aliens on the MOON!

A slew of New Destiny Details Emerge

The folks at Bungie need to be toiling away pretty furiously on Destiny, since they have to live up to their own reputation as "the people that made all those Halo games you all really liked." If the 14 page spread of information in January's issue of Game Informer is any indication, then they've been working up a storm.

Join forces to defeat evil monsters. With cards. .... Maybe.

Hearthstone survey suggests future Co-Op play

Earlier this year, Blizzard announced it was tossing it's hat into the rapidly swelling ring of free to play titles with the reveal of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, which is in beta now. The card battler game pitted heroes from the Warcraft universe against each other PvP style to earn gold and unlock new cards. Players will utilize some of the series' iconic characters, items, and abilities in a system that appears somewhat similar to Magic the Gathering.

Super Mario 3D World Co-Op Review

If you told me earlier this year that in the midst of two next-gen console launching, my favorite game of the fall was going to be from Nintendo, I would have called you insane. This is the game that the WiiU should have launched with. I know, hindsight is 20/20, but Super Mario 3D World is Nintendo at the top of its game, filled with vibrant, crea...

Seems like Amazon is always doing this... not that we're complaining!

Fourth Playable Character Possibly Leaked for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Donkey and Diddy Kong go way back in terms of video game co-op teams, but they won’t be traveling alone in their upcoming title, Donkey Kong Country: Tropic Freeze. Although Dixie Kong was the third playable character to be officially announced by Nintendo, a fourth may have been preemptively revealed by retail.

Hijack a helicopter with a grappling hook.

EDITED: Just Cause 2 gets Multiplayer modded in on Steam

AUTHOR'S NOTE: The mod does not add co-op. It adds a multiplayer mode with no NPCs that encourages PVP play. The team behind it has no immediate plans to add NPCs to this mode. Thanks to everyone who let me know otherwise. Despite the lack of cooperative play, this is still a really amazing feat by regular people who really just enjoy playing the game. Looks like the co-op dream will need to wait until (hopefully!) Just Cause 3.

Now where'd we put those crypts?

Browser-Based Co-Op Dungeon Crawler Lost Crypts Hits Beta

Lost Crypts is just the co-op dungeon crawler you're looking for. Played entirely in your browser, this retro-styled RPG puts you in floor after floor of dimly lit corridors stocked with enemies, spawners, gold and treasure. Along with up to three other players, it's your job to mine each area for all it's worth, then head down to do it again. Shockingly fun, and the co-op is simple but inclusive enough to work.
