Hellraid may seem strangely familiar to you. If you think the first person co-op slasher looks a lot like Dead Island gussied up in a Gothic skin, you'd be right. Techland made both the modern day tropical island zombie title and this dark fantasy nightmare. I think it's safe to assume these games will be very similar. With a couple of tweaks that might be a good thing. Then again, it might not. Techland did just pump out Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, which was excellent, whereas Dead Island: Riptide lacked the fun factor of the original. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Saints Row IV has a new trailer out, and while it's still looks ri-goddamn-diculous, it's kind of tame when compared to previous videos. This one is going for a more dramatic feel. Well, not really. They just played some dramatic music over insane gameplay footage while re-introducing some new and familiar faces.

The corner continues to grow for Sony and the Playstation 4 as more and more developers are throwing their hats in the ring for support of the next generation console. The latest to do so is developer Digital Extremes, a company who has 20 years of success with such titles under their belt as Unreal, Dark Sector, and The Darkness II. They also released a very cool free-to-play game recently for the PC called Warframe. a cooperative action/rpg hybrid, that plays like a dream, will be making it's way to the Playstation 4. Perhaps the best news is that it will be a launch title for the console.

Late last year we sat down with Terry Welsh, the one man development team of Really Slick, to talk about his retro cave shooter, Retrobooster. The game places you in the shoes of a pilot (or pilots, if playing cooperatively) who's the last best hop to fight off the horde of invading aliens and save the galaxy. This isn't your typical twin-stick shooter, though, as Terry's worked hard to get the physics behind your space flight just right. That means Newton's First Law of Motion is in full effect as you'll be having to balance your thrust and propulsion to avoid running into everything. He's the right man for the job, too, as he once worked at NASA constructing flight simulators.

We are in one of the longest "generations" of consoles to date and a lot can happen in 8 years. We've seen trends come and go, PR change, companies rise and fall. In this editorial we look at Sony and Microsoft and how they handled their consoles up until this point along with their announcements on what's next. Could one company be learning from the other?

We get a glimpse of his technique oriented fighting style, thus completing our look at what every last turtle of the group can do.

Soul Sacrifice will receive it's second update of free DLC next week. On June 11th the Dwarf and Ogre Archfiends will be added to the Librom, along with eight new missions, or pacts. During the heyday of the arcade game in the early 1980s, video game companies cranked out clones of popular titles, in the hopes that lightning might strike twice. 1979's Asteroids was a smash hit, one of the greatest video games ever, and thus it spawned all manner of copycats and sequels. Space Duel may not be a sequel in name, but improves upon the hallowed Asteroids formula in unique and entertaining ways, enabling it to stand on its own as a Co-Op Classic.
