Sounds creepy, but it's not!

Solstice Arena Aims to Stuff a Full MOBA into Your Phone

After getting acquired by Zynga in the fall of 2012, development studio A Bit Lucky has finally unveiled its next project. Solstice Arena aims to bring the fast-paced combat found in the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) genre to phones and tablets, all without sacrificing gameplay depth or graphics quality. Battles will be three on three and feature full online support, because six people using one phone just isn't fun.

Ludum Dare Competition Produces Co-Op Survival Game Myrne 6312

The thrice-yearly Ludum Dare competition recently wrapped up its 26th round of lightning-speed game development challenges, receiving over 2,300 submissions from game creators the world over. Participants are allotted a scant 48 hours to make a game from start to finish, each one working from a central theme. This time around that theme was "minimalism", teaching us all a lesson about doing a lot using very little. Or something like that.

With some co-op telekinesis thrown in for good measure.

Son of Nor Promises Co-Op Spell Casting, Terraforming

At this point in time, what with all the Minecrafts and Terrarias loose in the world, the words "dynamic" and "sandbox" don't carry the same raw excitement they once did. It's neat putting blocks in places and building cute houses to live in, but how about some meat on those bones, right? Son of Nor, an action adventure game currently in development (and on Kickstarter) by stillalive studios, is shaping up to be a lot of meat.

Defiance Registers 1 Million Users, New Patch Lowers Level Requirements for Co-Op Missions

If you were trying to play Defiance this morning, and I know some of you were, you may have noticed the servers were down. This is a common occurrence with new MMOs. Servers get updated, patches get patched, bans get hammered. So it goes. While we won't cover every single patch and update (Trion has their own forums for that), we will let you know when something impacts the co-op play.

Tabletop Co-Op: Escape: The Curse of the Temple

Escape: The Curse of the Temple - after hearing the title of the game, you pretty much know exactly what it is about. Players take on the role of Indiana Jones-like adventurers deep in an exotic temple. The object is to work together to get all players to an exit before time expires. This task is quite difficult, involving exploration, teamwork, and time management. Escape is exciting, a bit chaotic, loud, and also very, very fun.

You have to be in the mix, to get the fix

Terraria XBLA Patched and Detailed

World building used to be easy, you would simply become the biggest bloke in the tribe and go and invade a neighbouring village.  For some reason this is now frowned upon, so we must play games like Terraria to get our megalomaniac hit.  The game launched March 27 on XBLA and we gave it an iffy 2.5 out of 5, some bugs needed to be fixed.  Attempts have been made to improve the experience so check out the full list of fixes and updates that will hit next time you boot up the game.
