Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will receive another installment of DLC in less than two weeks. The latest digital offering from the ballistic behemoth will feature four new multiplayer maps and one hot new Zombie mode. The "Uprising" map pack will take the industry's most popular multiplayer versus gameplay  to several locations around the world. Co-op players will be treated to a Zombie version of Alcatraz in the new undead game mode, "Mob of the Dead."

Arcen Games has made a name for themselves for making cooperative games within an established genre and adding their own twist, as we've seen with A Valley Without Wind, and to a degree, AI War. The latest game from this seemingly always busy developer is the environmental puzzler (with zombies), Shattered Haven. It's a different take on the usual zombie game and it works, in its own way.

The kind folks over at the Behemoth have sent over 10 codes for their recently released co-op platformer, BattleBlock Theater. It's a game we've been watching anxiously for quite some time and saw it evolve over a few years. Now out exclusively for Xbox Live Arcade you and a friend can team up as "prisoners" forced to perform on stage in a variety of platforming and puzzles. You can also find some characters from your other favorite Behemoth game.

After just one day into the release of BattleBlock Theater, we are already enjoying the game’s quirky co-op shenanigans. For fans of The Behemoth’s line of fantastic games, such as Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid HD, they will be glad to hear that players can unlock a few of these game’s star characters within BattleBlock Theater; crossovers galore!

Cooperative heist aficionados have been waiting for Monaco: What's Your is Mine for quite a long time. I think it has been in development since 1986. I may be wrong. I played Monaco for the first time at PAX Prime last year. It's one of those games you see on the show floor and you instantly think, "I want to play THAT." And then you want to play it again. 

Other than Apache: Air Assault, we haven't seen much in the way of a true co-op helicopter game. There's a new arcade game on the horizon, set for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC called Thunder Wolves. It's an arcade game in the truest sense, an in a way feels like a spiritual success to something like Desert or Jungle Strike. 

If you could get a demon's soul pretty much for free, you totally would, wouldn't you? And how about Demon's Souls for free, while you're at it? The pleasantly punishing role playing game that's famous for being about as forgiving as a swift kick to the face is slated to be free for PlayStation Plus members for the month of April. Several other games will also but free, but... Demon's Souls!

Digging is the name of the game in Terraria. In this 2D sandbox-metroidvania, you will need to collect loads of items to become a stronger pixelated character. The cult PC title comes to the XBLA and PSN and features both local and online cooperative play. There are a few major problems with the translation to consoles, however, and the overall experience leaves a bad aftertaste. Dig on for the full review.

Release date time! ACE Team and Atlus recently announced the first person melee fighting game Zeno Clash II will hit Steam on April 30th, with the XBLA and PSN releases to come at a later date. Pre-orders for the PC release have also opened up, featuring several options that include discounts, free copies of Zeno Clash for you and/or your pal, plus a bonus digital soundtrack and artbook.

Bungie’s next blockbuster title, Destiny, will do co-op gameplay better than a Halo gamer ever could, due to the knowledge they've gained from their successes and failures. In a recent interview, Design Director, Joe Staten, gave some insight on changes to co-op and the number of character choices given to the players that will shape Destiny dramatically.

Today we have a new trailer from Sacred Citadel, the side-scrolling beat'em-up which takes place in the Sacred universe. In the brief video we are introduced to the Seraphim Mage, who apparently has no need of pants. If you've seen the other character videos you'll recognize the tune. This is the final playable playable character in Sacred Citadel. Wielding mighty spells, she joins the Ancarian Ranger, Khukuri Shaman, and Safiri Warrior. 

Fans of Torchlght II may remember that word or an official editor has been passed around. In a great twist of humor, Runic Games decided to release the finished editor on April 1'st...except it wasn't a joke. The new editor is named GUTS, and it will allow players to create, tweak, customize, and explore new possibilities in the world of Torchlight II.
