Looks like some Wii monsters will soon be safe from the maiming weapons of aspiring monster hunter groups. The online multiplayer servers for Monster Hunter Tri, the Wii version of the popular franchise, are coming down April 30th. While hardcore fans will likely be in the midst of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (which drops March 31st on the Wii U and 3DS), fans who don't have those systems or don't want to buy the game right away will have to go about monster slaying without their online buddies from May onward.

The Dead Space 3 public demo is available now on the Xbox 360. It will be available later today when the PlayStation Network receives its regular update. Nick and I played through the demo cooperatively last week and offered our impressions here. You can co-op the demo yourself with on online partner. I don't mean to tell you your business, but you should probably check it out. It was good enough to inspire me to start playing the original Dead Space again. 

Admit it, you saw this coming from a mile away. With all the cool (and not-so-cool) player skins available for the five classes in Borderlands 2, it was only a matter of time before Gearbox started charging us for some super-cool new heads and threads. Gearbox just announced 15 new player skin and head combinations. That's three for each character, if it's too early in the day for you to math.

It came as little surprise when two new Lego games were announced this month for a 2013 release. Perhaps a little more surprising is that one of those games, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, is delving into some new IP for developer TT Games; one that has seen a lot of popularity due to recent movie releases and more. If there's one developer that could be trusted to create a light-hearted/fun romp through the world of Marvel, it's certainly them. Afterall, TT Games stepped things up with LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, so this game can only improve from there, right?

Having finally finished Dead Space 2 this weekend and wrapped up the Dead Space 3 demo, I'm fully in anti-necromorph mode.  I was looking at a turkey on the dinner table last night and imagined myself using a plasma cutter to dismember...I mean...carve it.  With Dead Space 3 only a few weeks away it won't be long till I get my fix and dinner will once again be safe.

The console version of Far Cry 3 has received a huge patch recently, fixing bugs and enhancing several feature across all game modes including single player, multiplayer and co-op.  The PC version of the game has already been patched with most of these fixes.    Far Cry 3 features four player online co-op and two player split-screen co-op, as well as combo co-op support on the consoles.

Like a steam locomotion on a linear track we could all see this coming; Too Human has been pulled from the Xbox Live platform.  After legal wranglings with Epic, Silicon Knights asked Microsoft to remove the game, demo, gamer pics and themes from their service.  

It's kind of hard for me to believe it, but Magicka (the quirky, and hilarious, craft-your-own-spell RPG) turns two next week. Time certainly flies. To celebrate, Paradox is offering not only a free weekend for gamers, but also free DLC for players who already own the game. During this weekend, you'll be able to download and play the game for absolutely free. It's currently available on Steam, and the free play will extend until Sunday 1pm PDT. The game is also discounted down to $2.49 from $10 until Monday.

  With the Dead Space 3 demo hitting this week, several staff members realized they need to finish the previous two games to get up to speed.  So while that game dominates the list we also have DOTA 2 making an appearance as many of us have found ourselves addicted to the MOBA.  Myself?  After a disappointing 0 kills...
