Metal Slug 7 for the DS lacked co-op, but thankfully the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade version won't. Announced some time ago Siliconera got to wondering just what happened to the game, and whether or not it's still coming.
$299. That's how much that Diablo III statue will cost you. You might need a friend to help pay for it, but, from the looks of it - it'll be worth every penny. At 18 inches tall and weighing 15 pounds, this is no small statue of Diablo's Barbarian class.
In Japan, the Dragon Quest series is as big - if not bigger - than the Halo series is here in the United States. The next game in the series is coming from famed developer Level 5 and is set to be released in Japan on July 11th on the Nintendo DS. One of the most touted features of the game is a new cooperative mode.
With the 360 and PS3 version deep in development, there's another Army of Two game on the radar ready to bring buddy action on the road. Army of Two: The 40th Day for the PSP plays to the portable platform's strengths, forgoing a 3rd person shooter in favor of a more top down game similar to Smash T.V.
Have you ever had a crush on someone, only to have your friend (or former friend) move in and take him or her right from underneath you? That's kind of what happened to Crackdown developer Realtime Worlds when Microsoft chose Ruffian Games to develop Crackdown 2.
Believe it or not, Halo 3: ODST is only three months away. Soon we'll be dropping into battle with our ODST partners by our side for the game's Firefight cooperative mode. But what if we don't want to be an ODST? What if we want to be the tough as nails, take no BS Sgt. Johnson? There's only one way to get that - and that's by preordering the game.
Are you ready to spin me right round, baby right round? It's almost time to grab some vinyl, scratch, cross fade, and glow stick the night away. Both Gamestop and Amazon have listed the prices for the upcoming DJ Hero game with the accompanying turn table.
The Uncharted 2: Among Thieves multiplayer beta has been underway for a few weeks now, and the Co-Opticrew has been deep in the trenches with Nathan Drake. The beta consists of team deathmatch, a treasure capture mode and co-op! I'm sure you're like, "but Nick...I want to play co-op tooo!"
Hello friends, it's your old pal Mike! Since I hadn't had a chance to co-op recently, and Xbox Live was down last night (and I don't have a headset for PSN), I'm here to regale you with a tale of a feature that Jason and myself tried to get off the ground, but ultimately couldn't make work. It didn't have a name, but it did culminate in one of my favorite "co-op" (take note of those quotes) moments in recent memory.
When it comes to comparing same games on different consoles, most of the time it simply feels like comparing apples to apples. Unfortunately, in the case of Ghostbusters, we're comparing apples on a tree to fallen apples that may have been hit by a lawnmower once or twice. Since it's important to know where your money is going, we felt it necessary to share the differences this time.
Blizzard continues to release new screenshots for Diablo III on the PC. And with each new batch, we yearn more and more for the cooperative experience we so desperately want...and need.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you 1992. It was a land filled with these new fangled things called "CD-ROM" drives. And with them came the advent of Live Action Video Video Games. One series of games found it's way not only onto consoles, but to the arcades. The western themed game was called Mad Dog McCree - and you had to do everything in your power to stop him.
