After the leak on the Taiwanese Xbox Marketplace last month, it seems 505 Games and Reloaded Games are ready to announce HAWKEN's console release... sort of? The free-to-play title will be coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 "late June/early July."
Last night we dove into Satellite Reign and it's co-op mode (developer interview here) While the co-op is in beta form right now, when it works, its works extremely well. It offers a satisfying experience of strategy, action, and careful execution. Usually all of that is proceeded by a lot of tom foolery and neon lights.
Up to this point, much of the gameplay we've seen of Cuphead has been of a little teacup man (or men, in co-op) battling against giant bosses. While boss rush is fun, it's also nice to do something else, like traverse a level. The latest video for the game shows that our wish is granted and you'll be doing more than just fight...
Not to be forgotten in the flurry of E3 activity, UK developer Rebellion has announced a release date for Sniper Elite 4. The latest entry in the long-running sniper franchise will be available on February 14, 2017.
Many of us who caught Microsoft's E3 conference yesterday morning were a bit perplexed when we saw no mention of the forthcoming Crackdown 3. We wondered if the video Reagent Games put together had been deemed too hot for public consumption, or maybe if the developers had embarked on an orb-fueled weekend rager and simply forgot to send anything.
Even though the game is out in two weeks on every platform imaginable, you can play a demo of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens today. This little bit of news was unveiled during Sony's E3 press conference last night, and the demo itself is a PSN exclusive.
Despite an accidental leak on Reddit a few days prior to E3, Star Trek: Bridge Crew was one of the highlights of the Ubisoft conference. When LaVar Burton gets incredibly excited about something you know it's got some value, and watching the Trek alums wax praise about the game was fun in itself. Co-op fans might finally have the VR experience we've all been waiting for.
I have been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for decades now, long enough to have read the comics before the iconic 80s cartoon. The franchise has had a long and generally successful history, and video game tie ins are a big part of that. Turtles in Time is in my top five arcade games of all time, and between me and my two boys, we’v...
When it was first revealed and demo'd last year, For Honor sounded like it would be a multiplayer Knights vs Samurai affair with a combat system that had some rochambeau elements. During Ubisoft's press conference, it was revealed you could also play as Vikings and that there's now a campaign mode, which you can play with a friend.
Between the interesting opening dance number and the "behind-the-scenes"-ish video for the Assassin's Creed movie, there was some gameplay footage of Watch Dogs 2. During the course of that, there was a very quick mention of the game having co-op so we've done a little digging to find out more.
No Microsoft E3 conference would be complete without mention of the world-building juggernaut that is Minecraft. Last year they showed what could be possible with the HoloLens (whenever that materializes) and this year they're focusing more on the gaming together side of things. The new "Friendly Update" will allow PC (Windows 10 edition), mobile device, and VR players to all join and play in the same Realm.
The Behemoth's next title, Pit People, will kick off its closed beta very soon. This will be the first chance for quite a few of us to get hands-on with the title and see what this "turn-based, co-op adventure" is all about. The registration form to try and participate in the beta isn't posted yet, but y...
