Fun was not always the word I would use when describing Dark Souls, that game was hard, but immense. The sense of achievement and struggle looks to continue in Dark Souls 2, if the latest trailer has anything to say about it. There are so many massive and brutal looking enemies to fight that one poor chap has had enough and decides to pitch himself into the sea.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition might've had a year chock full of updates to keep console fans busy, but now it's Minecraft: PS3 Edition's turn. 4J Studios has released their latest patch notes for the version. Minecraft: PS3 Edition patch 1.03 won't add much in terms of new features, but will instead be fixing some technical hic...
In eras long past, we humans would band together and grab the sharpest, pointiest sticks we could find and go hunting. The object of desire: a gargantuan woolly mammoth. Not only to provide sustenance for our tribe, but also because it was the most entertaining thing we could possibly do, aside from chucking rocks at sabertooth tigers and seeing which one of us wasn't quite as fast as the others.
It’s a good time to be a SimCity fan, as two much desired features were recently announced. Both modding and offline mode are coming to the title, and we welcom both additions with open arms.
As co-op fanatics we know games that claim to have co-op features come in all shapes and sizes. While some are still debating the merits of competitive co-op, it seems the industry has bread a new beast - single player co-op. Is this style as new an innovative as many claim, or is it simply a polished single player mechanic in disguise? Two of our ...
In terms of modern gaming, we expect games to be delayed. Not just by a month or two, either (remember when Ubisoft held Watch Dogs back an entire year?). It's a rarity indeed when we receive some good news in terms of scheduling for video games. In that same vein, the five player co-op platformer Rayman Legends jumps its way to Playstation 4 and Xbox One an entire week ahead of schedule to launch on February 18th in the States, and February 20th in Europe. Sure, it's just a week, but I'll take it!
If you own Call of Duty: Ghosts you will already know that the aliens have landed as part of the game's Extinction Mode. With only one map currently available, it is about time some DLC was released to rectify things. Behold Onslaught, coming January 28th on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
In a month almost completely devoid of releases it's time to attack our backlog for total retribution. No longer will our pile of shame sit there collecting dust, we'll pull that top game proudly off of it, and let the second game start collecting the dust for us. If we've gone the all digital route - curse you Steam - we'll simply allow another game to move up our list of "recently" played titles.

Next to no details have been shared, but Trion did release the following description, albeit void of specifics: When the world fell apart, on...

What if we told you that there's a new co-op shooter game currently in development that combines elements of both Left 4 Dead and Shadow of the Colossus? No, we aren't joking around here, it's already a year in the making. Bringing together various developers from Crytek, Ubisoft, and even Adhesive Games (the creators of Hawken), Outrise aims to include a mashup of these two extremely popular video games in what seems to be the best ways imaginable.
