I'd love to see a Dark Souls movie starring Shia LeBeouf. For obvious reasons.

The New Dark Souls II Teaser is Live Action; No Post-Launch DLC Planned

The crazies behind Dark Souls II have announced a Dark Souls live action event in the form of this little teaser. There is going to be some sort of Dark Souls thing starring real-life people. I can see the casting auditions now. "Let's see your skills in action. How would you pull of, say, being stabbed to death by a horse-demon? Good, good. Okay. Now how about being crushed by the scepter of an immortal stone colossus? Not bad!"

Community Poll: 2013 Co-Op Game of the Year

Once again it's time for the Co-Op Game of the Year awards.  This is our sixth year for our awards, choosing the best cooperative game in the industry. (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012).  Like last year we've split the voting between two categories this year - AAA Games and Indie games. Despite two new console releases, almost none of the new games have made our list of notable co-op games. It's a slight disappointment that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are no shows, but hopefully that changes next year.

Ain't no party like a dwarf party

LEGO The Hobbit Gets its First Trailer

Just in time for the release of the second film in the series, LEGO The Hobbit finally has a trailer. The full game won't see the light of day until next Spring, but they want you to go ahead and get pumped for their upcoming title. If you've seen the first movie (or the second one, I guess) you'll recognize some scenes recreated with syrupy-sweet Lego charm. Shocker: It looks a whole lot like a Lego game. Check it out.

Run, Fatboy, Run! Dying Light Footage in the Rotting Flesh

If Zombieland taught us anything, it is that cardiovascular exercise is key to surviving the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse.  Don't try and fight hoards of flesh hungry deadites, get out of there ASAP.  The upcoming 4 player co-op title Dying Light agrees with this principle as the new 10 minutes of gameplay footage shows; more flight, less fight.
