Sony has been busy padding their new machine's game library with some really great previously released titles. If you missed the magic first time around, or are looking at reliving the memories with friends, all of the three player goodness of Trine 2 is coming to the Playstation 4 in Trine 2: Complete Story. The puzzle/action/platformer game is getting a new paint job, but it's not so much a remake or sequel as a version of the game with higher specs.

Piff! Pow! Boff!  These are the type of sound effects you would expect from the superheroes of the DC Universe, but no longer will you be hearing them on Wii or Wii U.  The upcoming 3 player co-op title Young Justice: Legacy has been pulled from these two platforms for a number of reasons.

Activision and Infinity Ward have unveiled a brand new co-op mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts called Extinction. The mode pits four players against waves of aliens in a strategy survival mode.Extinction appears to be a replacement for the zombies co-op modes we've seen in the Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops games in the past.

It has been a year since Happy Wars hit the Xbox Live Arcade scene, and it has not disappointed us in co-op standards. Not only does Toylogic’s success come with many exciting plans for the future, but also the “Wartober” event currently underway through the month of October.

With next gen consoles around the corner it’s a little frightening that there are still so many unanswered questions. Sony just released a PlayStation 4 FAQ that aims to clear a few things up concerning how you play on (and off) your console.

Nintendo has a weird relationship with the internet. Sure, you can trade your adorable Pokemon monsters to anyone across the globe via the information superhighway, but playing a platformer online? Goodness no! If you're dying to play Super Mario 3d World with your friends, you need to make sure that they're comfortable sitting beside each other. The Wii U's next Mario game features four player co-op, but only of the local variety. Any ambitions to squash goombas with your online friends will have to wait.

It's Halloween this week, which means it's time to dress up! May we suggest a pirate? Perhaps a nazi zombie? Or for the kids in your life one of those fluffy (yet irritable birds)?

I hark back to the days when pirates used to say things like "Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum", rather than "I have just installed Malware on your PC."  Ubisoft obviously feel the same as they are finally ready to smash that bottle of champagne against the hull of the olde worlde HMS Assassin's Creed IV:Black Flag.

Upcoming PS4 launch title Knack has a rather unusual co-op mode, but until now it's been just a bunch of verbal descriptions. Two new videos finally show off some multiplayer action, including remote play using a PS Vita!

Second screen co-op seems to be one of those next-gen features that everyone wants to implement, but nobody is really sure if they are going to stick and take off. While not a traditional form of co-op play, these modes allow a one or more additional players to utilize a tablet or phone to somehow enhance the primary player's experience. The latest game to give this a shot is Madden NFL 25 from EA Sports on the Xbox One.

With its cute voxel chickens and adorable sheep in a rainbow of colors, Minecraft doesn't exactly have a reputation as the scariest game around. Even the whole Enderman thing is, at best, creepy in a weird sort of way. Mojang is releasing a limited time Halloween texture pack for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft that looks to add a little bit of spookiness to your awesome subterranean cave empire.
