Dragons know to strike at the opportune moment, we hope

Double Dragon II Remake Achievements Appear

Back in July of 2011 (ahhh, what a heady, magical time that was), we had some news of an upcoming (so it was believed) remake of the arcade version of Double Dragon II, now subtitled "Wander of the Dragons." Between that time and now, the series saw something of a reimagining in the form of Double Dragon: Neon, an effort that Paul found to be quite enjoyable whether playing the game solo or with a friend. Now, the announcement for Neon came around April of 2012 and the game saw release that September. Meanwhile, on the Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons front... Well, we've finally gotten some achievements, so maybe the game will see a release soon? Or at least, this year?

Listening to fans is never a bad option

Saints Row 4 Survey Wants to Know About Collector's Editions and Co-Op

The above screenshot might look like its from a Crackdown game, but it's actually from the recently released Saints Row 4 trailer. The new game looks even more over the top than the third installment - which we didn't know was possible. It's a good thing though - Saints Row knows what it is and what it does well and it continues to push that.

There's a fantastic 'yo dawg' image just waiting to be made!

Wii U Version of Resident: Evil Revelations to Support Off-TV Play

Who needs a TV when your controller's got a screen? The Wii U's Off-TV Play feature allows supported games to be played on the tablet-like gamepad. As long as the Wii U is receiving power and you're within range, you don't even need a television. Perfect for those ugly moments when the TV is being used for a Glee marathon. Oh, the horror...

Is this thing working now?

Aliens: Colonial Marines Receives 4GB Patch on PC

Aliens: Colonial Marines has received a massive patch on the PC bringing it up to date AND past the recently patched console version of the game.  The four player co-op shooter was released to mostly negative reviews due to buggy gameplay, poor AI, and unimpressive visuals.  While we gave the game a 3 out of 5 for co-op play, it definitely wasn't worth the $60.  It's a good thing it's down to $35 already.

Miner Wars 2081 Update Releases Full Source Code

Miner Wars 2081, the game that's all about mining and warring in space, has just received a major update,  switching the rendering engine from XNA to DirectX for improved stability along with a few other tweaks and fixes. More notable, however, is the fact that both the game and the VRAGE engine's source code have been released, opening the flood gates for the modding community to sweep in and do what they do best.
