Right now Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season pass subscribers now have access to a new map for the game's four player co-op zombies mode. Set in a bombed out version of the classic multiplayer map Nuketown, Nuketown Zombies is a survival only map for players to take on the undead. The new map is accessible from the zombies menu in Black Ops 2 and on the selection screen you need to choose Nevada instead of the default tranzit area.
Happy Action Theater, Double Fine's collection of Kinect minigames and visualizers for XBLA, is probably the most beloved Kinect XBLA title besides Fruit Ninja Kinect. It really shows off what the Kinect can do and doesn't allow clumsy menus or motion controls to get in the way of the fun. As such, we've been anxiously awaiting the sequel: Kinect Party. Many gamers (particularly parents) would probably have paid 800 MS Points for the second game, but it turns out they won't have to. From December 18-31, Kinect Party will be completely free. Party time!

It’s no big secret the Blizzard Entertainment has been attempting a console version of Diablo 3 for practically a year now. Those that are behind this undertaking at Blizzard spoke up a bit on it's progress, and revealed that a working console rendition has been made, but isn’t anywhere near retail.
Borderlands 2 content previously exclusive to certain retailers and collector's editions is now available to everyone, for a price. The Creature Slaughter Dome will allow players to compete in a bonus Circle of Slaughter challenge located at the Wildlife Exploitation Reserve. The Circle of Slaughter challenges have been around since the first Borderlands. Players must face waves of progressively more difficult enemies in an enclosed arena. It's basically a survivor mode.
Do you want more cooperative play in the next Assassin's Creed? Ubisoft wants to know. According to The Gaming Liberty, Ubisoft has been circulating a survey asking questions about overall satisfaction with Assassin's Creed 3 and what new features customers would like to see in the series. The survey isn't available for the public, or else I'd kindly link you to it.
PC classic game Duke Nukem 3D is free for 48 hours over at GoG.com as part of their Winter promotion. The game was released in 1997 for DOS and became an instant hit for PC gamers. Duke Nukem 3D supports four player co-op via LAN or Internet through the entire campaign. We've seen a recent release on Xbox Live Arcade which bumped the co-op count from 4 to 8, as well. The version on GoG is the Atomic Edition.
When Miner Wars 2081 was announced it was easy to make the comparison and hope to recapture some of that magic that was felt while playing Descent. Miner Wars 2081 is an ambitious part of a larger puzzle in the Miner Wars universe that includes an eventual MMO. The groundwork is laid here with a full campaign spanning 30 plus missions and support for up to 16 players in co-op. We dive in to see just how well that classic feel could be revived.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is only two months away from release after years of waiting. The Gearbox developed title, featuring a four player co-op campaign, has been high on our anticipation lists for a very long time. As we inch ever close to the February 12th release date on Xbox 360, PlayStation and PC we plan to consume every bit of info we can. There's a Wii U version of the game in development as well, but a release date for that has not been announced.
