Before closing its doors in 2014, Japanese developer Westone created the Wonder Boy series, the Sega CD co-op classic Dungeon Explorer, and many more games. Westone’s last title, the co-op platformer Clockwork Aquario, never made it to arcades and was thought lost for many years. Thankfully, ININ Games recently uncovered and completed the gam...
Taito’s Darius series of shoot ‘em ups has spanned generations, beginning as a 2D arcade game and eventually evolving into the 2.5D extravaganza Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX . The collection will contain 10 arcade classics from Taito, and it's set to receive both a regular physical release and a Collector's Edition from Strictly Limited Games. We started covering the iiRcade platform when the company slashed its home arcade cabinet prices ahead of Black Friday a short while ago. The deals keep coming, it turns out, as the iiRcade Classic Bundle is now on sale for $299 through Cyber Monday! The appeal of the iiRcade home arcade console is that it mixes the experience and form factor of an arcade cabinet with the console-like ability to buy and download games. During the Black Friday Sale that starts today, iiRcade home arcade consoles are on sale for $200 off.
