We've previewed it, we've waited patiently for it, and now Dying Light is mere days away from being unleashed upon the masses. What exactly is it, though, and why should you, Joe Co-operation, care? Well, the folks over at Techland are here to provide a bit more clarity in the form of a four minute gameplay video.
Ostriches are weird creatures. For starters, they're birds, but they're frickin' massive, weighing as much as two humans and standing at least a foot taller. Second, they're one of the very few land creatures that exclusively walk on two legs. Naturally, this makes them the perfect subject for an online co-op exploration game!
2K and Gearbox have announced Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is on its way to next-gen consoles in late March! The pack shoves Borderlands 2 and its follow-up Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel together in a tidy high definition package retailing for $59.99. It's the first time both games will be available on PS4 and Xbox One, and it's also the first time four player local split screen co-op is available!
In case Minecraft characters didn't have enough jaundice for your taste, guess who's coming to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions of the game in late February? You already knew the answer because you saw the title, but I just couldn't ruin my jaundice joke. Never underestimate the humor in high levels of vascular bilirubin.
KingsRoad was one of the first free to play games that truly impressed me. The Diablo like Action RPG managed to deliver a compelling, replayable game that didn't lock a ton of content behind paywalls. Almost two years later the game is still going strong with over 100 available maps, three character classes, and thousands of legendary items. Now the game is out on iOS.
We have been dabbling in some Evolve as of late. Here is a quick overview of the game in a moving picture format. Make sure you go read Tally's full preview article before or after you watch this.
Online subscriptions for MMO titles are normally a big money sink for gamers, but sometimes things change for the better. In a few months, The Elder Scrolls Online will be losing its required subscription based model to play in favor of a new offering.
Ubisoft, developers of The Crew, had a rough 2014. I'm not one to make musical comparisons, but I'd be willing to bet that more than a couple employees over there considered "This Year" by The Mountain Goats to be their anthem by December 31st. Nevertheless, they survived the year and even managed to eke out a GOTY contender, Far Cry 4, in the process. If history is at all predictive, 2015 should be the year of their redemption, and a portion of that redemption should come in the form of DLC releases for their 2014 titles.
Turtle Rock Studios’ next big game, Evolve, will be released in under a month. If you have an Xbox One, maybe you had a chance to check out the open beta that ran last weekend. If you missed that, or didn’t have access to that platform, read on for our impressions of the press demo.
There comes a time in any young person's life in which they realize there's much more to the world than the confines of their home. There are countrysides to explore, street vendors to haggle with, and, in the case of Deathtrap, hordes of minions to mar and disfigure in brutal contraptions.
We are T-Minus 7 days and counting for the release of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc DLC and this means we also get our grubby mitts on the new Exo Zombies mode. The new trailer for the mode includes some famous faces, choice language and rotting corpses.
How many people do you know who own a freaking Battletoads t-shirt? We probably couldn't count them on one hand. That being said, Microsoft's own Phil Spencer was seen rocking a sweet Battletoads t-shirt today at the Windows 10 event. If we know Phil like we think we do, we have a gut feeling we'll see something Battletoads related in t...
