Two player co-op mode sounds... interesting!

Thunder Wolves Set to Bring Co-Op Helicopter Battles in Q2

It's helicopter time! Or, it will be in a few months, anyway. Ubisoft recently announced that its upcoming flying/blowing everything up arcade game Thunder Wolves will reach PC, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network in the second quarter of this year. Developed by bitComposer Games and Most Wanted Entertainment, Thunder Wolves puts players behind the controls of some serious flying machines to carry out missions across four different regions. Co-op mode allows two local players to team up and play as pilot and gunner of the same helicopter, which is about as cooperative as you can get. We encourage sitting in the same chair for maximum realism.

Dungeon Defenders and Beat Hazard Ultra on the cheap

New Humble Bundle Features Two Co-Op Titles

Another day, another bundle! This time around it's the good old Humble Indie Bundle on the return, sporting half a dozen DRM-free games with a pay what you want price tag. The bundle includes Dungeon Defenders and Beat Hazard Ultra, both of which feature co-op in one form or another. You can also nab Super Hexagon, and even though it's technically a solo game, there's an unofficial co-op feature where your friends try to keep you from breaking valuable objects after you lose for the 19th time in as many seconds.

Are you afraid of the dark?

New Trailer for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Features Co-Op Play

With the imminent release of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon upon us, it is probably time to trade your broomstick up for a supersized vacuum cleaner. The long awaited sequel to the original Luigi's Mansion, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will also take place in the creepy environments we are accustomed to (namely, a mansion). Most importantly, the green plumber will come equipped with a group of friends to tackle the dark and scary night with. We already touched upon some of the ways that Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will feature cooperative play in a previous article.

Wizard class on display

New Impressions of KingsRoad, Now Launched

It was a little over a month ago I gave some impressions of KingsRoad - a free to play game from Rumble Entertainment that's playable through Facebook or Rumble's own online service. The browser based game is an action-rpg in the same vane as Diablo or Torchlight but is designed to be played in shorter sessions. Since last month, the team has added a new class, the Wizard, and made several enhancements to the game world. Today the game is available for anyone to try - though it's still technically in beta - and the team is treating it as a KingsRoad's coming out party.

Sadly there aren't many fist bumps...

Coooperative Achievements for Army of Two: Devil's Cartel Revealed

The list of achievements for Army of Two: Devil's Cartel recently dropped and I'll admit, I'm a little disappointed. There's not a single achievement for fist bumping your partner. Not one! What is the world coming to??? Anyways, there are still a few co-op specific achievements that have been revealed amidst the usual overall progression ones. No spoilers in the list, so feel free to peruse away.

But SimCity servers themselves are doing just fine

EA's Origin Struggling to Keep up with the Demand of SimCity

Ah digital distribution - it's the future, or rather, it's the current popular way to get PC and soon, console games.  But it isn't without its problems - namely - big launches don't always go so smoothly. There's only so much bandwidth out there to distribute your game - and when you have a few million people trying to get it at the same time - things tend to slow down. Such is the case with SimCity, which launches today on the PC.

Seriously, that's a big shield.

Fuse Videos Show off Main Characters

While we're still reeling from the unfathomably painful delay of "a few months" Insomniac recently placed on Fuse, we can still get a little teaser of what's waiting for us. A handful of videos recently released shows off the main characters in Fuse, including Dalton "Guy with that Big Shield" Brooks, Izzy "Who Kicks a Lot" Sinclair, Jacob "I Have a Crossbow" Kimble, and Naya "Ha Ha Can't See Me" Deveraux. Bet you'll never forget their special abilities now, will you?

Dungeonland Update, Plus Character-Narrated Video Guides

Those of us still bounding around the Dungeon Maestro's theme park have a lot to love about Dungeonland, as our co-op review so masterfully illustrates. Recently, Paradox Interactive placed the previously exclusive Grimoire Pack DLC on sale for the buying populace to consume along with an update that fixes a few rough spots in the game. Oh, and then there are the three video guides narrated by Rogue, Mage and Warrior. Just for fun.
