Patching up paradise

Planned Far Cry 3 Patches Will Change the Game

In a day and age where developers are sometimes guilty of releasing a product and never changing it for the better, it is refreshing to see Ubisoft take a different approach with Far Cry 3. The game itself was a smashing success, moving a fairly large number of units, and enjoyed a very positive review from our site. Intent on making the experience even better, it seems the team at Ubisoft has been listening to gamers and will continue to implement changes in upcoming patches. Spotted in an official forum post, the following additions will be added.

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel Hands on Co-Op Impressions

The next game in the Army of Two series, called Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is supposed to be somewhat of a reboot. Gone are the characters of Salem and Rios, in their place two new protagonists join the story of mercenaries in masks. After some recent hands on time with the game, fans of the series shouldn't worry about too much of a shift, as I felt right at home playing the two player co-op game.

Players can team up (either locally or online) and take down monstrous enemies with unlockable weapons and special abilities. You'll be taking the role of students as you play through the branching pathways of Leafmore High School.

Still over 4,000 songs to rock out to

Rock Band DLC to End April 2nd

It seemed like the days of plastic instruments cluttering up living rooms would never end. On April 2nd, however, Harmonix has announced that DLC support for Rock Band 3 will be terminated as the team moves on to other projects. The songs aren't going anywhere, and sales will continue to occur, but new content is officially at an end. Not only is it a sobering reminder of an era coming to pass, but it also marks the longest DLC support for a franchise in video gaming history, boasting over 275 weeks of continuous releases.
