Red Faction: Armageddon among games on sale

Playstation Store: Sales Armageddon

The day that retail games can be downloaded on consoles for cheaper than being bought in the shops is when the mass market will begin to truly shift towards a digital download only model.  We are not there yet, but if Sony can keep producing sales like the one that has just hit the PlayStation Store, the future may be sooner than you think.  Among the multitude of games on offer is the 4 player co-op Red Faction: Armageddon for $9.15 and non co-op titles such as Batman: Arkham City for $14.45 and Darksiders 2 for $14.95.

The game based on the show based on the game...

A Few More Defiance Videos, Some New, Some Old

Recently I've been checking out this Defiance game, which somehow totally slipped under my co-op radar. I remember seeing the booth at a few events last year. It had a cool giant space crab rocking the Golden Gate Bridge, but something always distracted me... I honestly thought the game was called "Trion" for a while. I kind of go off to my happy place whenever people mention things like MMO, PvP, or PC gaming in general.

Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass Details and Patch Notes

Aliens: Colonial Marines launched today and the reviews are not so good. Hey, at least we get to see one of the most quoted lines of all time used in almost every single review! Brilliant. But since A:CM doesn't seem to be causing eye cancer, I'm sure some fans are still going to enjoy it. Maybe. I guess I'm not so sure about that. Somebody, somewhere, might like it. I don't know. My only experience with the game was from a short session at E3 that was actually quite enjoyable, but not everyone is a sexual Tyrannosaurus, like me. Apparently I played the best part.
